Just ran across this while speaking with a Quick Books technical support rep.

Steps

1.       Open Quickbooks

2.       Click Help on the top right menu bar.

3.       Click About in the menu.

4.       Click the Ctrl - R –P keys on your keyboard.

5.       This opens the registration screen where you can enter the validation code.
